Did you ever noticed that the language of our minds can go into different routs? Of course you did! And you know Edgar Morin? Either you love or you hate him. But he has this very usefull cathegories.. your systemic organisation of thinking can either go into PARANOIA, into the COMPLICATED or into the COMPLEX ...
Everyone knows paranoia and how we should organise ourselves so that we can still think properlly and ignore those strange shit that comes up from time to time... (and i'm speaking for myself of course :))
The complicated acts without reflection, we end up linking shit without thinking about it, and making some very complicated systems without any kind of logic. It's not like surrealism or anything it's just our projection of strange organisation, or at least it was like this i understood from Morin...
And the complex is like the "follow the light" from Starwars :))) logic thinking, even without the normal logical systems, for example, i think of Surrealism also as a complex system...
My aim with all this, was that the children think more clearlly than adults, they enter more easilly into complex systems...
And if you make 2 big circles, being the first NATURALISM and the second SURREALISM they are also just a way that you organize your human knowledge, the input-output from you and the world...
Now try to see this circles touching each other in 2 different points! you get a common grey area between these 2 circles. In this area i get my skin itchy and my head bigger and a big smile inside that goes across the street greeting the cofee lady before i get out of the building! ;))
This grey area was called DEKADENCE in a art exhibition i went.. I don't like that much the name, but still i loved the concept!!
