DUHA

Dobry den!

Jmenuju se João Duarte, just arrived from Coimbra, Portugal, far west from Czech Republic. In my sunny country i’ve become a scientific researcher of the mechanistics of the small giant world that rules our biology; a laboratory worker, a biochemist. I love science, thinking about solutions, but mainly into new questions, new viewpoints, trying to put them into practice and see how it works out. New ideas come like photo flashes, making our heart pump even more harder, the adrenalin of making everything to try it out! Is like a picture i have in my head. . . Can it be true? Can i make it real? Is it real at all? This perception of the scientific world is all about your imagination. Because the unknown can be even wilder than your strangest dreams. Many art methods share this basis and this rush, it’s like the same language. When you deliver yourself to your world like this, you get like in a zen state of some sort that makes your soul shine! Trully, this is my addiction.

Já jsem nový EVS dobrovolník at the colorful main office of Duha in Praha! I want to keep this beautiful rainbow world for the future, i want to feel trees, grass, soil, other animals, the pure air forever! Direct actions to give ecological warnings to our society are very important, not everyone gets the time to think a bit about it... I’ve worked with small people at my by-the-sea-country and this youngsters are such good friends and really open to this stimulus. If you comunicate seriously about it with 6 – 15 year olders, they will give serious thoughts about it, a lot easier than a grown up audience. . .

The thing is that most people are trained to be bored :) i think. The youth keep their mind open more easilly but older people more often are closed inside their viewpoint. And to think about our world is also to get inside other eyes, other cultures. And Europe is so strong with it, so much history and cultures in this small space! So much to taste, to dance, to enjoy and experience in this people duha! A more beautiful world (for me) starts here, in the Euro dream!

For the moment, nerozumím, but in 2 months i’ll write another article in cesky!

Mej se hesky! Cau!
